Privacy Policy

The company which operates the Clos de Breuilly site is called DCV, registered SIREN 903484533. Its headquarters are not very far from the winery: it is located at 1, rue des Monts in Cesset (Allier). The DCV company operates the site, and therefore processes your data. The website is hosted by Hostinger International Ltd (registered at 61, Lordou Vironos street, 6023 Larnaca, Cyprus). To the best of our knowledge, the data centers we use are located in France.

Cookies

Like all websites, we use cookies to make your visit more pleasant, and of course for the security and proper functioning of the site.

For example, if you visit the page which allows you to create an account on the site, a temporary cookie is created to check that your browser supports these famous cookies. This cookie does not contain any particular identification information, and disappears when you exit your browser. Likewise, when you identify yourself to our site, one or more identification cookies are created to preserve your identity: they are kept in your browser for a few days.

These cookies only serve between you and us, and of course, they do not allow third parties to exploit your data.

Digital Third Parties

Our business includes creating and marketing wines, so the resale of your personal data to other companies is not part of our business plans.

On the other hand, certain technical tools used during the construction of the service that we offer you involve communicating data which concerns you with third parties when using the site. There are currently two suppliers:

  • Stripe to process credit card payments, which we hope will be both plentiful and secure.
  • Cloudflare to verify that you yourself, dear visitor, are indeed a being of flesh and blood, and as such that wine is a product that suits you.

This last point may seem strange to you. It is in fact for us to ensure that the banking or technical services that we make available to you are safe for you and for other visitors.

As these suppliers are on the one hand essential to the proper functioning of the site, and on the other hand they provide good assurances that they do not seek to exploit your interactions with us beyond what is absolutely necessary for the service they offer, we do not ask for any specific consent to interact with them on your behalf.

Web Audience

Furthermore, we record browsing data during your use of our service, or more precisely meta-data. This corresponds to two objectives:

  • Improved user experience — particularly smooth navigation.
  • Measuring the audience of the website.

For these purposes, we use a market tool, installed at our hosting provider. Browsing data is anonymized and does not leave the data center. They are, of course, never shared with third parties. This data does not allow you to be identified: we have neither the technical means nor the intention to do so.

We also do not ask you for specific consent for this legitimate use of navigation metadata.

Personal Data

The site allows you to buy wines from the estate, and to contact us. In both cases, you are required to entrust us with personal data, as well as confidential data. We of course take the greatest care of them, and we only communicate them to third parties in the context of carrying out our business — the delivery person must know where to go.

The data thus collected is only used to contact you unsolicited to the extent that you have already accepted it. If you feel that we have been extremely rude to solicit you in an inappropriate manner, do not hesitate to notify us by e-mail to contact@closdebreuilly.com. We will remedy this inconvenience as quickly as technically possible.

You also have, of course, all legal rights over the personal data you have entrusted to us. These rights are nevertheless limited by our legal obligation to retain transactions and keep our accounts in good order.
